The General Services Administration (GSA) has been putting out requests for bids to purchase Toyota vehicles for the Department of Homeland Security to use in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, according to procurement records reviewed by Heavy Weather.

GSA wants to buy 10 new 2026 Toyota vehicles for DHS to use in Puerto Rico, per procurement records. These vehicles are meant to be delivered no later than May 31, 2026.

The vehicles are three Tundras, three 4Runners, two Tacomas, and two Highlanders, according to the documents. These vehicles are supposed to come fully loaded with 4x4 drivetrains, tow packages, and other specs. Per the records, GSA requested specific colors for them, such as "Heritage Blue" or "Heavy Metal."
